This Privacy Policy explains what data Empleonline collects, what it is used for, who it is shared with and what you can do about it. It applies to the whole empleonline.com site and to every page, form and calculator hosted on this domain.
We ask for personal data only when we really need it to provide a service, always by lawful means, with your knowledge and, where the law requires it, with your consent.

1. Who is responsible for your data
Empleonline is operated by Job Concursos Negócios Digitais LTDA (CNPJ 39.924.340/0001-44), which acts as the data controller for the personal data collected on this site. We apply the data-protection law of the country you access the site from where it applies to us — including PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws in Canada, the Privacy Act 1988 in Australia and the GDPR in the European Union — and Brazilian law (LGPD) where we operate.
For anything related to this policy — questions, access, correction, deletion or objection requests — write to us through our contact page.
2. Summary in plain language
- We collect what you type into our forms (for example a name and a mobile number) and technical data your browser sends automatically.
- We use it to run the site, answer you, send the messages you asked for and show advertising, including personalized advertising where you allow it.
- We share data only with the service providers that make the site work and with advertising partners, within the limits of this policy.
- You can see, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent and opt out of messages at any time.
3. What data we collect
3.1. Data you give us
When you fill in a form, a quiz or a calculator, we may ask for your first name, your mobile number, your e-mail address and the answers you choose (for example the type of vehicle or your province or state). When you contact us, we keep the message and your contact details to reply.
3.2. Data collected automatically
Like most websites, we receive technical data from your browser: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, language, pages visited, the page that referred you, time spent and interaction with ads. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).
3.3. Data we receive from third parties
Advertising and analytics platforms may share aggregated or pseudonymous data about your interaction with our ads on their networks. We do not buy personal data from data brokers.
4. What we use your data for
- To operate, secure and improve the site.
- To reply to your messages and requests.
- To send you the content you asked for by SMS, e-mail or push notification, with your consent.
- To measure audience and performance (analytics).
- To show advertising, including personalized ads where you have consented.
- To comply with legal obligations and defend our rights.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with: (a) hosting, security, e-mail, SMS and messaging providers that process data on our behalf under contract; (b) advertising and analytics partners (for example Google and Meta) under their own policies; (c) authorities, when the law requires it. We never sell your personal data.
6. Advertising and personalized ads
The site is funded by third-party advertising served through Google AdSense/Ad Manager and partner networks. These partners may use cookies and identifiers to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and at aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance), and through our cookie preferences.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage and tags for essential functions, preferences, analytics and advertising. Our Cookie Policy explains each type and how to control them, including the consent banner shown on your first visit and the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
8. Browser (push) notifications
If you accept browser notifications, we store a pseudonymous subscription token to send them. You can turn them off at any time in your browser settings.
9. SMS, e-mail and messaging
We send SMS, e-mail or messaging-app messages only when you asked for them by submitting a form, in line with anti-spam laws such as CASL (Canada), the Spam Act 2003 (Australia) and the GDPR (EU). Every message identifies us and offers a way to stop: reply STOP to an SMS, use the unsubscribe link in an e-mail, or write to us. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
10. Links to third-party sites
Our content links to external sites (lenders, insurers, government pages). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; read their policies before giving them any data.
11. How long we keep your data
Form data is kept for as long as needed to provide what you asked for and for up to 24 months of inactivity; contact messages for up to 24 months; technical logs for up to 12 months; data needed to comply with legal obligations for the period the law requires. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.
12. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, encryption at rest where available and reputable providers. No system is 100% secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
13. International transfers
Our providers may process data in Brazil, the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where required, we rely on contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) or your consent.
14. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent and to complain to a supervisory authority (for example the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the OAIC in Australia). To exercise any of these rights, contact us; we reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity.
15. Children
The site is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
16. Your responsibilities
You agree to give accurate data, not to submit someone else’s data without permission and to keep your devices secure.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our practices. The date at the top shows the current version; material changes will be announced on the site.
